This Week I had my first ever life drawing class! We had a hour and a half on the 25/19/14 to do sketches of a male model. I really enjoyed the exercise, at first I was trying to draw detail but after some help and guidance I understood that the exercise was to help show what way the body moves and not to worry much about the small details unless there is more time, with which we didn’t have much! We had three minutes, two minutes, 1 minute and 30 second sketches. Using shapes and a middle line down the centre helped a lot and I’ll be sure to use those techniques in future.
