The strange mystery of UV Mapping

 

Uv Mapping has decided to really not agree with my brain! I struggled a lot with uv mapping my models and looked forĀ help online and teachers. It’s probably something so simple but I just need to get used to it. Below are some links I was recommended to have a look at;

Alec was amazing help but I still couldn’t wrap my head around it, I did try my best with my models but I think the class in the next semester will help me massively.

 

The final piece to the puzzle

Instead of our idea of having something like Narnia’s iconic lamp as a signpost/fountain, we ended up agreeing to keep it simple, a signpost. Something to fill the empty space in the scene. Now all the models are finished it’s time to look at uv mapping…
